The Concert for Bangladesh was a benefit concert in 1971 put on by George Harrison of the Beatles and sitar player Ravi Shankar to raise awareness and raise funds for refugees. It was one of the first concerts of this kind and featured a huge supergroup of performers including Ringo Starr, Eric Clapton and Bob Dylan among others.
